Job Description

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a well-established manufacturing company in the Raleigh area with their search for a CNC Turret Punch Operator. This is a contract-hire role working Monday through Thursday 3pm-1am.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate an Amada EMK CNC Turret Punch Press to produce precision sheet metal parts
• Review work orders and technical drawings to determine proper tooling and setup requirements
• Select, inspect, and install punches and dies to ensure proper condition and performance
• Load and verify CNC programs prior to running production
• Run first-piece parts for quality approval and make adjustments as needed
• Monitor production runs and perform in-process quality checks using precision measuring tools
• Record inspection results and complete required production documentation
• Perform secondary tasks such as deburring and part finishing as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Hands-on experience setting up and operating an Amada turret punch press (EMK experience preferred)
• Familiarity with CNC programming is a plus
• Strong ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints
• In-depth knowledge of turret punch tooling and setup procedures
• Comfortable performing basic math calculations and measurements
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other inspection tools
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a typical industrial shop environment
