nepf is a boutique management consulting firm built to do exactly that. We work with Fortune 1000 companies on their most pressing challenges — M&A integration, AI and digital transformation, enterprise change management, and operating model redesign. We've led the integration program for six multi-billion-dollar acquisitions in life sciences, helped a 50,000-person company build an enterprise change management strategy from scratch, and designed an AI-enabled operating model for a Fortune 100 biopharma R&D organization. Our founder, Andrea Schnepf, brings 20+ years of experience, including 14 years at Accenture, where she built and led the global Digital Talent & Organization practice. That background shapes everything — the standard we hold ourselves to, the clients we attract, and the way we develop our people. 

The Opportunity  

We're looking for a  Consultant  to contribute to business transformation engagements for our clients — large, complex organizations navigating significant change — bringing project management discipline, intellectual curiosity, and genuine commitment to doing excellent work. 

The right person is energized by complex problems, takes ownership from Day 1, and wants to build their career somewhere their contributions are visible and their development is taken seriously. They communicate with precision and clarity, work independently when needed, navigate ambiguity, and bring both rigor and good judgment to everything they do. 

You will be in the work, not watching from the sidelines.  From early in your tenure, you'll be contributing alongside experienced colleagues who are invested in your development — building skills and taking on real responsibility. 

You will be supported and developed.  Every Consultant who joins nepf gets a dedicated mentor, structured onboarding, and a defined development path with clear competencies. The expectation isn't that you know everything — it's that you're curious, coachable, and committed to doing excellent work. 

You will have a clear path forward.  We promote on performance, not tenure, with twice-yearly reviews and transparent criteria. This is a firm where ambitious early-career consultants build the foundation of genuinely strong careers. 

What You'll Do 

Contribute to transformation program delivery.  Support end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives — maintaining project plans, tracking milestones and deliverables, producing status reports, and coordinating across workstreams. You are accountable for your outputs, not just your effort. 

Drive change that actually lands.  Develop and execute change management and communications deliverables — impact assessments, engagement plans, stakeholder communications — that address the people side of transformation and support real adoption. 

Build client relationships.  Engage directly with client teams, build trust with stakeholders, and develop the presence and credibility that distinguishes a strong consultant. You'll be supported by senior team members, with growing responsibility as you develop. 

Grow as a consultant.  Engage actively with feedback, mentorship, and learning opportunities. Bring curiosity and initiative to every engagement and build the skills — including AI-enabled delivery capabilities — that will define the next generation of consulting. 

What We're Looking For 

• 2+ years' experience working in fast-paced, large enterprise environments, either as a consultant or an internal employee, with exposure to complex transformation programs 
• Adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity — you can work across functions and industries, and you lead with curiosity rather than waiting to be the expert 
• Some change management experience — you've helped organizations work through transitions, not just documented the plans 
• A clear, confident communicator — you write well, present credibly, and can build rapport with clients and colleagues at all levels 
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams

• Genuine curiosity about how large organizations work — you find the people, process, and technology dimensions of transformation interesting
• AI fluency and an interest in learning about how AI is changing consulting delivery 
• Bachelor's degree or higher, ideally in a relevant field such as business, psychology, or a related discipline 
• Strong organizational skills and a track record of delivering quality work under pressure 

Compensation & Benefits  

• Salary:  ⁠$100,000-$130,000 per annum base, commensurate with experience 
• Yearly  Performance bonus: up to 5% 
• 401(k):  Employer match — 100% on the first 3%, 50% on the next 2%

Location  

Based primarily in California, we operate as a distributed team across the continental U.S. This role may require working West Coast or East Coast hours depending on client needs.
