We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Manager to join their Chicago office. This is a backfill role ideal for experienced tax professionals looking for significant career growth, exposure to diverse industries, and strong collaboration across corporate tax teams nationwide.
Must-Have Qualifications
Corporate tax & tax provision experience (ASC 740) within the last 1–3 years
Current Manager title in a public accounting firm
Active CPA license (Illinois or reciprocity) – JD/active law license also acceptable
Public accounting experience with a Top 15 firm
Experience supporting large, multi-state, national, or global corporate tax clients
Ability to work minimum 2 days/week onsite in Chicago (hybrid)
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
4–7 years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience
Strong technical expertise in ASC 740 – Accounting for Income Taxes
Advanced knowledge of US GAAP, corporate income tax laws, and regulations
Strong analytical, technical, and tax technology skills
Preferred Skills
Experience in public accounting
Experience with OneSource Tax Provision
Working knowledge of:
State & local income tax
International taxation
Transfer pricing
