Salary:
Approximately $100,000 + Performance Bonus

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join their established Covington office. Unlike their junior associate opportunities, this position requires an attorney capable of independently managing hearings, motions, and active litigation from day one

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle contested divorce and custody litigation.
• Independently appear in court.
• Conduct hearings and argue motions.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and legal memoranda.
• Negotiate settlements.
• Maintain active client communication.
• Collaborate with partners and legal staff.
• Manage approximately 30–50 active matters.

Qualifications:
Required

• Georgia Bar admission.
• Family law litigation experience.
• Ability to independently manage hearings and motions.
• Strong client advocacy.
• Excellent legal writing skills.

Preferred

• Mediation experience.
• Trial experience.
• High-conflict family law matters.

Work Environment:

• Full-time, in-office.
• Strong support staff including dedicated paralegals, legal assistants, intake, client care, billing, and finance teams.
