Interventional Cardiologist
Emerald Coast, Florida

Position Overview
A growing physician-led cardiovascular practice on Florida’s Emerald Coast is seeking two full-time Interventional Cardiologists to join its established team serving patients throughout Destin, Niceville, Fort Walton Beach, and Crestview.

This opportunity offers a balanced mix of interventional and general cardiology services across hospital and clinic settings. The incoming physician will split time between the cardiac catheterization laboratory, inpatient rounding, and outpatient clinic responsibilities.

Key responsibilities/services include:
  • Coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
  • Complex coronary interventions
  • Peripheral vascular interventions
  • Inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular consultations
  • General cardiology services including ECG interpretation, echocardiography, and stress testing
  • Preventive cardiology and longitudinal cardiovascular care
The physician will work closely with fellow cardiologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff to deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care throughout the region.

Shared STEMI and general cardiology call responsibilities are divided equally among the physician team with a 1:5 call rotation.

Comprehensive physician package includes signing incentives, relocation assistance, CME support, productivity incentives, and additional physician benefits.

Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
  • Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Completion of accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology training programs
  • MD or DO
  • Eligible for Florida medical licensure
  • Experience and interest in both coronary and peripheral vascular interventions
  • Open to experienced physicians and current fellows
