Requirements
Brighton Hill Pediatrics is seeking an experienced and motivated professional to oversee the daily operations and long-term growth of a busy medical practice. The role is responsible for managing operational performance, financial oversight, staff leadership, vendor coordination and strategic planning to ensure efficient and profitable business operations. As a successful Medical Practice Manager you must have excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor operational performance and lead timely resolution of business and workflow issues.
Manage cash flow and budgeting, and financial performance to support organizational profitability.
Coordinate and oversee external vendors and services providers, including EMR systems, facilities maintenance, IT services, HR support, and employee benefits administration.
Manage credentialing processes for professional medical staff and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
Recruit, hire, train and supervise administrative and operational staff.
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to support organizational growth and operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate accounting records, including general ledger journal entries and financial reporting using QuickBooks.
Collaborate with leadership to improve systems, processes, and patient service delivery.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Minimum of 3 years of relevant management or healthcare operations experience.
Strong business acumen, including budgeting, contracting/negotiating, personnel management and staff development.
Demonstrate ability to exercise sound judgement, independent decision-making, and strategic analysis.
Experience with accounting processes and QuickBooks, including general ledger journal entries.
Basic IT knowledge and troubleshooting experience preferred.
Prior experience in a medical practice environment required.
Experience in EMR implementation and management strongly preferred.
