Real Estate Paralegal - Law firm - $105-120k - Hybrid
Prior/current experience within a real estate/property management group OR experience working within a law firm setting supporting a real estate practice group is required.
The real estate paralegal plays a crucial role in supporting our legal team in managing real estate transactions, ensuring compliance, and handling legal matters related to these matters.
The real estate paralegal will be responsible for providing legal support and assistance to the in-house real estate legal team within the company.
Responsibilities:
Drafting and reviewing legal documents related to real estate transactions, such as contracts, agreements, leases, and purchase agreements.
Conducting title searches and reviewing title reports to ensure the property's ownership and history is clear.
Assisting with due diligence processes, including reviewing property records, conducting research, and analyzing property information.
Organizing and maintaining real estate files, documents, and databases.
Assisting with the closing process, including preparing closing documents, coordinating with various parties involved, and attending closing meetings.
Assisting with negotiation and resolution of real estate disputes.
Researching and staying updated on real estate laws, regulations, and industry trends.
Assisting with real estate compliance matters, such as ensuring compliance with zoning laws, environmental regulations, and other relevant laws.
Liaising and communicating with internal stakeholders, external attorneys, real estate agents, and other parties involved in real estate transactions.
Providing general administrative support to the in-house legal team, such as managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and maintaining correspondence.
