The Technician II (Desalt Tubes) is responsible for the synthesis of synthetic DNA according to the customers order. This generally includes synthesis cleavage deprotection QC sampling and final packaging of the products being made.

This position reports to the Supervisor (Desalt Tubes) and is part of the Desalt Tubes Value Stream located in San Diego CA and will be an on-site role.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Perform the manufacturing tasks to transform raw materials into final products including: decontamination process product transfer and maintenance connection software.
• Operate instruments in the lab that are needed to complete the tasks by following all work instructions and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Strictly adhere to customer specific as well as general work instructions and SOPs.
• Support daily management: assessment to drive problem solving with data and suggest countermeasures.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High School diploma or GED

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Life Science work experience.
• 12 months of lab experience
• Excellent computer skills which include knowledge of the Internet Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

The hourly range for this role is $25.00 $26.00/hr. differentials for different shifts if applicable. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
