Overview
Registered Nurse, Interventional Radiology (IR) in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This is a travel - temporary assignment starting 04/27/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $3,046 to $3,111 per week, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift: Days, 40 hours. Work setting: hospital.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for Interventional Radiology procedures, including vascular access, angiography, placement and maintenance of catheters and tubes, and related post-procedure care.
- Monitor patients pre- and post-procedure, assess vital signs, manage sedation/anesthesia support as directed, and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition.
- Administer prescribed medications, maintain sterile technique, and uphold strict infection control standards during procedures.
- Manage central lines and venous access (including port placement) and assist with a range of IR/vascular interventions.
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and support staff to ensure patient safety, optimal outcomes, and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (Meditech Expanse preferred).
- Provide patient and family education regarding procedures, post-care instructions, and follow-up requirements.

Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license (Massachusetts) and current credentialing uploaded to the traveler profile; Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) must be uploaded upfront to staff temporary needs.
- Certifications: American Heart Association BLS and ACLS, plus Defibrillation Certification required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years current Interventional Radiology/IR RN experience; Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology experience required; CCU experience required; IV skills required.
- Technology: Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred.
- Additional qualifications: Ability to function independently in a high-stress, fast-paced environment; attendance at mandatory education; own vehicle; travel address included in profile; local travelers within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this assignment.
- Scheduling and interviews: RTO requests must be noted at submission; two specific interview dates/times of availability must be provided in the profile; all scheduling requests should be made at submission and will not be approved after an offer.
- Physical and credential checks: D Dress code requires scrubs; must meet facility and regulatory requirements for perioperative and IR nursing.
