Job Description

As a Tube Polisher, you will play a critical role in our production process by performing the final surface preparation and polishing of metal tubing and components. Your craftsmanship ensures that every piece leaving our facility meets our rigorous quality standards and specific customer requirements for aesthetic and functional finishes.
salary: $19 - $19.5 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 2 PM - 10:30 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
- Surface Preparation: Grind, sand, and clean metal surfaces to remove imperfections, weld seams, or scale prior to final polishing.
- Precision Polishing: Use various hand and power tools (including lathes, belt sanders, and buffers) to achieve specified finishes, from matte to high-mirror reflections.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished components against blueprints and company specifications to ensure uniformity and high-quality standards.
- Tool Maintenance: Select appropriate abrasives, compounds, and wheels for different metal types and maintain equipment in good working order.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including the consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
The essential functions of this role include:
- manual lifting up to 50lbs
- standing for 8 hours at one time
